Collection of Personal Information
We collect Personal Information that you submit to us voluntarily through our Sites. If you register for a conference, we will collect all the necessary personal information as well as billing information (such as name, address and other contact information) to process your registration. If you apply for an open position at GoldenGate, we will collect any information contained in the e-mail message you send to us, plus any information contained in your resume. If you e-mail us directly via an e-mail hyperlink to provide us feedback or to ask us a question regarding our Sites or our business or products, we will collect any information contained in such e-mail, and we will treat any such information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
As you navigate our Sites, certain information will also automatically be collected, including Internet Protocol addresses, cookies and navigational data. This type of information will be used in the aggregate for the purposes of gathering data to improve our Sites, and to improve the quality of your experience when interacting with our Sites. This information will not be linked with any Personal Information.
Use of Personal Information
In general, Personal Information you submit to us is used to respond to requests that you make or to provide or improve our services. For example, we may use your Personal Information to process a conference registration, should you submit one to us.
We may use your e-mail address to notify you of products or services that may interest you, such as to keep you informed about events or other items of interest, to notify you of recent updates to our Sites, or to provide you with product news notification. You may opt-out from receiving promotional or marketing e-mails by notifying us at the address specified at the bottom of any unwanted e-mail. These opt-out procedures may not be available for certain types of messages, such as e-mails that are necessary to provide you with confirmation of a completed transaction (such as a service request).
Disclosure of Personal Information
We do not generally sell, trade, rent, or share your Personal Information with third parties. However, we may need to provide your Personal Information to third parties to charge your credit card (if authorized by you) or deliver specific services to you (such as support services or shipping). These third parties are required not to use your Personal Information other than to provide the services requested by GoldenGate.
Although we currently do not have a parent company, any subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under a common control (collectively, "affiliates"), we may in the future. To the extent that you do provide us with Personal Information, we wish to maintain its accuracy. We may therefore provide a means to create an account or a profile of information and also give you the possibility to edit or delete the account or profile information later.
Regarding Children
We do not intentionally gather Personal Information about visitors who are under the age of 13.
